ŞANLIURFA TOUR: GÖBEKLİTEPE – ŞANLIURFA CENTER

GÖBEKLİTEPE TOUR: Departure from our hotel at the designated time to Göbeklitepe archaeological site. Arrival at the site for a visit to the world’s first temple, featuring massive T-shaped pillars, and a tour of the Göbeklitepe visitor center. After receiving detailed information from our guide, we will explore the site. After our Göbeklitepe visit, we will proceed to Harran, where we will see the ruins of the world’s first Islamic University, the historic observatory, and take a photo break at the region's iconic beehive houses. Return to the center of Şanlıurfa for a visit to Turkey’s largest museum, the Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum, the Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum, which depicts Amazon warriors on stones from the Euphrates River, Balıklıgöl, Gümrük Han, Bedesten, and the copper and carpet markets. Transfer to the airport and end of our tour.
